COVID-19 Situation Overview

The government of Ukraine has announced the gradual easing of certain COVID-19 quarantine measures under an “adaptive quarantine” plan, according to which services and institutions will re-open in stages if certain conditions are fulfilled, as follows:

 Starting on May 22:

-       All public transportation except metro systems

-       Hotels (excluding restaurants and gyms)

-       Intra-regional transportation

Starting on May 25:

-       Metro systems

Starting on May 31:

-       Inter-regional transportation, including the resumption of passenger rail travel on Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways)

The Ukrainian government announced it will allow regular international passenger flights starting on June 15. Ukraine opened 66 checkpoints on the border with the EU and Moldova at midnight on May 29. Ukraine will be able to fully open borders with neighboring states around mid-July of this year, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov suggested. The Cabinet earlier approved re-opening of 66 checkpoints on the borders with the Republic of Poland, Hungary, the Slovak Republic, Romania, and the Republic of Moldova.

As of today Ukraine has almost 25000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 within its borders, including 735 deaths.

Starting April 6, it is prohibited to:

-       Be in public places without masks.

-       Be in public places if unaccompanied by an adult and under the age of 14.

While COVID-19 continues to disrupt in some parts of the world, here in Ukraine we might be able to tackle this challenge as we’re all back in the office. We pay particular attention to ensure safe working conditions.

According to the Government's restrictions, the movement of foreigners across the border of Ukraine is temporarily banned until June 22, 2020. Due to this fact one of the major issues related to the emergency measure is that meetings with our international partners are practically impossible. Anyway we are looking for solutions to manage the situation and optimize our international cooperation.

Despite the quarantine measures which are gradually easing we continue accepting and processing any orders in accordance with the established governmental regulations.

We are constantly monitoring the latest partners’ news and responds promptly to any changes in the work process.
